Mrs. Florence Loretta Ryan of Jonesboro was born on Saturday, November 8, 1924 in Trumann, Ark. daughter of the late Porter Childrey. Mrs. Ryan died on Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at the Jonesboro Healthcare Center in Jonesboro, Ark., at the age of 83 years 8 month and 0 days. She was born in Trumann and had lived in Trumann most of her life. She was a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Mrs. Ryan was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, and three sisters. She is survived by her husband, Mike Ryan of the home; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Friday afternoon July 11, 2008 at 2;00 p.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann, Ark., with Rev. Gary Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Nettleton Cemetery in Jonesboro, Ark. Visitation will be Thursday evening July 10, 2008 from 6 to 8 at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann.
