There are not enough words to say about Lura. When we were growing up, I have some of my fondest memories of Catherine and Jimmy. Lura would always make us feel at home, but she would make us laugh and best of all, she made us feel loved. Fair was already moved out but to this day she knows how I feel about her. I wasn't ther when Rhonda or Buddy was called home, but Lura has some of her children with her with the rest to follow. She was a great lady,as well as my mother, dad & Edward. All anyone can ever ask in this world is to see them all again. I love you all. I hate that I did not know ubtil it was to late & just found out about this website. Joe & Sheliayou all

I am very sorry to hear of Lura's passing. I seldom have a thought of my teen years that doesn't include your family. I loved her Sunday pork roast dinner, she was a great cook. But most of all she was a good woman who worked hard to take care of her family. She was a loving mother and very proud of all her children. My fond thoughts and prayers are with you all. Alice Clayton Harrison
