    I remember Jerry from my childhood. He was our neighborhood hero. Those of us who were a few years younger were inspired by his character and lifestyle. He used to hunt rabbits with just his dogs. Our parents had the same kind of car - which is a funny story to be told to the family later. Jerry was the closest friend I knew who went to Vietnam. May he Rest In Peace in the Lord, and we extend our prayers and condolences to the family - one of the best families in our community.
