James B. Holbrook

Mr. James B. Holbrook was born on Friday, September 29, 1933, son of the late Tilsman and Audrey Holbrook. Mr. Holbrook died Saturday, May 19, 2007 at NEA Medial Center in Jonesboro, Ark. at the age of 73 years 7 months and 20 days. He was born in Kentucky and had lived in Trumann for the past three and a half years and was a retired steel mill worker He was preceded in death by six sisters, two brothers and his parents. He is survived by his wife, Francella McCord Holbrook of the home; one daughter, Rhonda Tacker of Kentucky; one step-daughter, Julie Gilbee of Florida; three sons, Jerry Holbrook and Denver Holbrook both of Indiana and Randy Holbrook of Mich; three step-sons, Rocky Jackson, of New York, Jesse Jackson of South Caroline and Richard Jackson of Michigan; six sisters, Jeanette Stevens, Sharon Justice, Emma Justice, Sue Bailey, Bernice Plunkett and Brenda Hall all of Michigan; two brothers, Tilsman Holbrook and David Hall both of Michigan; 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be Tuesday, May 22nd at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann with Rev. Larry Owens officiating. Burial will be private.
