Delsie Faye Haynes
October 5, 1941 - December 28, 2006

Mrs. Delsie Faye Haynes of Trumann, died Thursday at NEA Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark. She was born in Independence, Mo., and had lived in Trumann since 1972 and was formerly of North Carolina. She was a retired factory worker and of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Melvin Haynes, a daughter, Carolyn Mullins, 2 sisters, 2 brothers and her parents Fred and Josie Beaver Kirby. Survivors include her husband, Earl Haynes of the home; two sons, James Haynes of Jonesboro and Melvin Lee Haynes of Trumann; three sisters, Katie John and Carolyn Jackson of Corning and Maye Cummins of Aberdeen, Wash., and 5 Grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home with Bro. Rick Kimery officiating. Burial will follow in the Harrisburg Memorial Park Cemetery Pallbearers will be Blake Davis, Shane Bowers, Terry Carr, James Jones, Gregg Jones and Bart Kennedy. Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Jones and James Plunkett. Visitation will be Friday evening from 5-7 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home. An online register can be signed at www.thompsonfuneralhome.net.
