Lorena Wilson Farnum
September 8, 1904 - July 9, 2006

Mrs. Lorena India Farnum was born on Thursday, September 8, 1904, the daughter of the late John E. and Kate Love Cypert Wilson. Mrs. Farnum passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2006 at the family residence in Trumann at the age of 101 years, 10 Months and 1 day. She was a housewife and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Trumann and a former member of the Trumann Eastern Star and Trumann Lions Club. Mrs. Farnum was preceded in death by her husband, George Albert Farnum in 1989; two sisters; one brother and her parents. Survivors include one son, W. R. Burke of San Antonio, Texas; five grandchildren, Babs K. Burke, Julie A. Burke, Robert G. Burke, Mary Jane Burke and Melanie Loperano; two great-grandchildren, Cirara C. Loperano and Riley C. Loperano. Funeral service will be Friday, July 14th at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann with Rev. Jim Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Active pallbearers will be Bill Cook, Al Lindsey, David Loperano and Frank Ray.
