Barbara June Moise

Mrs. Barbara June Moise of Trumann departed this life on Friday, May 31, 2019 at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. At the age of  75 years, 1 month and 9 days. Barbara was born Saturday, April 22, 1944 in Marked Tree, Ark., and had lived in Marked Tree until moving to Trumann eight years ago. She was a retired LPN nurse and a member of Shepherd’s Heart Church in Jonesboro, Ark.  She was preceded in  death by her son, Randy Don McKenzie, two brothers, Thomas and Billy Lawson and was the daughter of the late Jessie and Omega McCullar Lawson. Barbara is survived by her husband, Raymond L. Moise of the home; one daughter, Diana (Danny) Griffin of Trumann; one son, Rick (Tanya) McKenzie of Trumann; one step-daughter, Gail Blundel of Wynne, Ark.; four step-sons, Randy (Pam) Moise of West Memphis, Ark and Keith, Mark and Terry Moise of Wynne, and; 18 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. The Family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 4th from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann. A celebration of her life will follow at 1:30 in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home with Rev. James Strait officiating.  Burial will follow at Marked Tree Cemetery in Marked Tree, Ark. Pallbearers will be Keith Moise, Wayne Hale, Rhett Strait, Brock Strait, Kyler Strait, Jeff Wood and Caleb Strait. Memorials may be made to the Shepherd’s Heart Church, 3226 Highway 351 North, Jonesboro, Arkansas 72401.       An online register book can be signed at www.thompsonfuneralhome.net.
