Terry Wayne "Halfpint" Halfacre
September 11, 1951 - July 18, 2019

Mr. Terry Wayne “Halfpint” Halfacre of Trumann departed this life Thursday, July 18, 2019, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark., at the age of 67 years, 10 months and 7 days.  He was born Tuesday, September 11, 1951 to the late Tim and Minnie Jean Swanner Halfacre in Jonesboro, Arkansas and had lived most of his lifetime in Trumann.  He begin working for Woody’s Print Shop when he was 11 years old and was the owner and operator from 1983 to 2008.  In 2003 he started working for the U.S. Postal Service as a mail carrier, and was a member of the Maple Grove Baptist Church in Trumann.  He was preceded in death by one sister, Debbie Moore and his parents.       He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Faye Fortson Halfacre of the home, two daughters, Tera Riga and Nicole Whitaker both of Bay; three sons, Steven Halfacre and Travis Halfacre both of Trumann and Joseph Halfacre of Bay; one sister, Barbara Wagner of Jonesboro, two brothers, David Halfacre of Bay and Tim Halfacre of Trumann; 18 grandchildren and expecting 1 great-granddaughter in December.      Visitation will be Monday evening from 5 to 6 p.m. at Maple Grove Baptist Church, 13059 Maple Grove Road in Trumann.  A Celebration of Life will follow at 6:00 p.m. at Maple Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Duffel and Rev. Kenny Guy McMahan officiating.  Graveside service will be Tuesday morning at 10:30 a.m.at Bolivar Cemetery near Harrisburg with Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann in charge of arrangements.       An online register book can be signed at www.thompsonfuneralhome.net.

    Barbara, I am so sorry to hear about your brother. My husband is from Trumann and, I'm sure he knew him. There's not very much anyone can say at a time like this; but, I surely know the pain and grief you are feeling.     To the HALFACRE FAMILY, mu deepest condolences on the loss of one of our Church family Terry... I have known both families for a long while and they are such people... We will surely miss Terry's BIG smile at Church on Sunday mornings... The way he loved to aggravate and go on with his CHURCH FAMILY and friends...?? He was one in a million...On these days ahead may our FATHER GOD wrap his loving arms around his family and give them comfort.... He will be missed, but never forgotten...
