Hazel Louise Holt
April 19, 1933 - October 24, 2019

Mrs. Hazel Louise Waters Holt went to be with her heavenly father, Thursday, October 24, 2019 at the family residence in Greers Ferry, Ark., at the age of 86 years, 6 months and 5 days. Born Wednesday, April 19,1933 in Greers Ferry, Arkansas, Hazel was a hard worker, she worked at Singer in Trumann for 35 years and Parker Hannifin for 12 years.  She saved every penny she could and purchased 17 acres, and a home in Greers Ferry.  Hazel loved her flowers and spent hours tending them.  She was a wonderful cook, her specialty was chicken and dumplings and coconut cake which were always requested for special events.  Hazel was of the Baptist faith and studied her bible daily.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Holt, two sons, Leslie and Larry Holt, two sisters, Helen and Athaleen and her mother, Dixie Waters. She is survived by one son, Terry and wife Amanda Holt of Greers Ferry, two daughters-in-law, Judy Holt of Greers Ferry and Carol Holt of West Plains, MO; one uncle T.J. Waters and one aunt Imogene Waters. seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday, October 27th from  2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann. A Celebration of Life will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Barker officiating.  Burial will be Monday Oct. 28, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Shiloh Crossroads Cemetery, in Greers Ferry, Arkansas.
