Elvis Winfield Morgan
August 4, 1942 - November 23, 2019

Elvis Winfield Morgan, 77, passed away Saturday evening in Bay.  He was born in Poinsett County and had lived his lifetime in Bay. He was a retired factory/farmer and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bay.  Elvis accepted Christ on Christmas Day 2016 and was baptized on January 1, 2017.  He loved the Lord and was very active and witnessed every chance he got to everyone he met.  Elvis enjoyed meeting at McDonalds and having coffee with his buddies every morning.   He was the son of the late Bill and Minnie Casteel Morgan.  He was also preceded in death by one brother, James (Bud) Morgan, and one sister, Ruby Elrod. Elvis is survived by his wife, Carol Harris Morgan of the home; one son, David  (Dayla) Morgan of Blue Springs, MO; one daughter, Cynthia (Lee) Norsworthy of Bastrop, LA; three sisters, Wanda Schisler  and June Broadaway of Jonesboro and Bettye (Eldon) Shoebrock of Katy, TX; two brothers, Larry (Linda) Morgan of Ft. Worth, TX, and Donald (Dorothy) Morgan of Williford, AR;  four grandchildren, Curtis Farley, Rebekah McDonald, Kagan Berry and Alexis Norsworthy and three great grandchildren, Ellie, Savvy, and Lyra. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. til 12:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Bay with Rev. Danny Taylor officiating.   Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Thompson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.         Pallbearers will be Kagan Berry, Curtis Farley, Chad Colbert, Johnny Pagan, Donnie Rodgers, and Jacob McDonald.
