Mrs. Windy Lynn Ritchie of Lake City, AR departed this life on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, AR at the age of 64 years, 9 months, and 26 days.  She was born Saturday, March 26, 1955 in Decatur, Alabama and lived most of her lifetime in the Bay and Lake City area.  She worked at Butterball in Jonesboro and considered her co-workers as her family and was of the Church of God Faith.  She was preceded in death by 2 sisters, 1 brother and her parents, Frank and Clara Tunstill Upton.       She is survived by her husband, Aaron Ritchie; three sons, Chason Hellenthal, Brandon Hellenthal, both of Lake City, AR and Aaron Hellenthal of Jonesboro, AR; one brother, Frank Upton of Lake City, AR; two sisters, Diane Ramsey of Lake City, AR and Pansey Cox of Paragould, AR; 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.                       Visitation will be Sunday afternoon from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann.  A Celebration of Life will follow in the chapel  at 3:00 p.m. with Bro. Rick Jensen officiating.  Burial will be Monday morning at 11:00 a.m. at Bowman Cemetery in Lake City.        Online guest book at www.thompsonfuneralhome.net

    I remember Windy being my best friend in second grade at Cedar Park Elementary School. I think she moved to Bay either during that year or after that year. I was heartbroken. I am so sorry for your loss.
