Shirley Ann Britnell
August 26, 1938 - December 3, 2020

Mrs. Shirley Ann Britnell of Trumann departed this life on Thursday, December 3, 2020 at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, AR at the age of 82 years, 3 months, and 7 days.  She was born in Ensign, KS and lived most of her lifetime in Trumann.  She was a factory worker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her father, Pete Atkins; and one sister, Sue Fike.          She is survived by her husband James Britnell of the home; two daughters, Michelle (Timothy) Wood and Kim (Roger) Forbus both of Trumann; her mother, Inez Atkins of Jonesboro; one brother, Ricky (Amanda) Atkins of Trumann; two sisters, Betty (Joe) Scott of Jonesboro and Birdie Prentice of Marysville, OH; 6 grandchildren,  Magan (Jared) Walker, Lee (Zoe) Forbus, Morgan Kitchens, Hannah Wood, Heather (Chase) Exum, and Hailey Wood and 8 great-grandchildren, Rylee Wilson, Nathan Walker, Addilyn Reeves, Casen Exum, Lyla Forbus, Isabella Mathenia, Caroline Exum and Beckett Walker.       Visitation will be Saturday from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church, 305 Bell in Trumann.  A Celebration of Life will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Ricky Dobbins officiating.  Burial will follow in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery in Jonesboro under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home.        Pallbearers will be Lee Forbus, Shawn Blanchard, Jared Walker, David Fagan and Chevy Sullivan.       In compliance with COVID-19 restrictions, social distancing will be required along with face masks and the signing of a COVID-19 form will be required.       Online guest book can be signed at www. thompsonfuneralhome.net
