Herbert Conder Maxwell
February 5, 1932 - February 14, 2021

Herbert Conder Maxwell of Trumann, departed this life on February 14, 2021 at the family residence at the age of 89 years and 9 days.  He was born Friday, February 5, 1932 in Monette, AR to the late Ivy Herbert and Susie Mae Holland Maxwell and lived most of his lifetime in Trumann. He was a salesman for Tasty Bread  and Bunny Bread, a Korean War veteran of the U.S. Army, and a member of First Assembly of God.  He was preceded in death by one son, Neil Maxwell, 2 brothers and his parents.       He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Geneva Ruth Campbell Maxwell of the home; two sons, Ronnie (Linda) Maxwell and Kenny (Terry) Maxwell both of Trumann; five sisters, Melba Lamphere of California, LaBelva Boyd of Florida, Laura Whitman of California, Iva Cahill of California and Coy Hodges of Van Buren, AR; 9 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.       The family will receive friends on Sunday, Feb. 21st from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at The First Assembly of God in Trumann. A Celebration of life will follow at 3:00 p.m. at the First Assembly Of God with Rev. Kenneth Doke and Rev. Jared Maxwell officiating.  Burial will be private at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in Birdeye, Ark.       In compliance with Covid-19 guidelines, a mask or other facial covering is required, a Covid-19 acknowledgement form is required to be signed and social distancing will be observed.
