Hewey Michael Loggins
September 13, 1952 - July 12, 2021

Hewey Michael Loggins of Trumann departed this life on Monday, July 12, 2021 at the family residence at the age of 68 years, 9 months and 30 days.  He was born Saturday, September 13, 1952 in Brownsville, TX and had lived in Trumann the past 20 years and was formerly of Texarkana. Hewey was a veteran of US Marine Corps  and was retired from WalMart. He was preceded in death by one brother, Jerry Loggins; one sister, Shelia Loggins; and his parents, Kenneth Loggins and Louise Pierce Schmitz. He is survived by two brothers, Phillip (Vicky) Loggins and Jeffery (Missy) Loggins both of Jonesboro; three sisters, Teena Blagg and Vickie Matthews both of Trumann and Paula Burleson of Jonesboro; and his nephew who was his special buddy, Justin Blagg.        Committal will be Tuesday, July 13th at 1:30 p.m. at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in Birdeye, AR with Associate Pastor Corey Benetz officiating.   Arrangements are being handled by Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann.    An online register book can be signed at www.thompsonfuneralhome.net

    Mike was a really good friend and always there for me. He's helped me out more times than I can count. I'm going to miss my neighbor walking down the sidewalk to come over to watch a Razorback game and just having a great time making each other laugh. Thank you Mike for your friendship we've shared all these years. You will never be forgotten. Keeping his whole family in my thoughts and prayers especially his Sister Teena.
