  1. Beverly Adams, Jonesboro, AR says

I only met Heather one time. Her daughter Reice and my granddaughter Charlee are best friends and I was dropping Reice and Charlee off at Target to meet up with Heather. I have read many of her friends comment on her infectious smile and contagious laugh. I am so impressed how many people loved her and spoke so highly of her! I was able to experience her smile and laugh the one and only time I met her and I’ll never forget it or her! Every time I go to Target I think about that meeting. Her funeral service was beautiful. Her father honored her with love and admitation and there was standing room only. Rest In Peace Heather ????

  5. Tamara Grady, Navarre, Florida says

Heather knew me as Coach-ett when she was young and I helped coach her in basketball. Time passed, she grew up and we seldom saw each other. When we would run into each other what joy it was to reminisce about the good ol’days of her youth. I moved to Florida 6 years ago. When you do that you have to find all new doctors, I’m old, lol. Anyway, as I am meeting a particular doctor for the first time she ask me where I was from. I told her Trumann, AR. She said she was from Marion AR. We began to chat and all of a sudden she said, “Do you know Heather Ferguson”? I smiled and said absolutely! This doctor began to tell me how kind Heather had always been to her, no matter who won or lost the games. She ask me if I remembered how Heather dribbled, we both cracked up! See Heather got by with palming that ball as she dribbled it like she was a pro, seldom got called for it. We were both smiling from ear to ear by then end of the conversation, all because of a beautiful girl named Heather who brought light wherever she was. Heather brought nothing but joy to my life, and last year I got to spend a week with her lovely daughter, my heart nearly exploded. Heather will be missed, that goes without saying, but she is with Jesus now and his light shines through her now for all of eternity. How blessed I was to have spent time with Heather, how blessed I am to have known her, how grateful I am that a very long time ago I was Coach-ett to her and she was a silly, funny, beautiful, caring, basketball playing fool that was such a pleasure to watch on the court. This world is less because you are gone sweet girl, but Heaven shines just a little brighter because you are HOME.
