Ellis “Red” Dean of Trumann, AR, departed this life on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at the family residence in Trumann at the age of 76 years, 5 months and  19 days.  He was born Sunday, January 27, 1946 in Parkin, AR and lived the last 28 years in Trumann. Red was an oil field worker and tractor mechanic who loved his family especially his many grandchildren, great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Joanne Dean; three brothers, James, Elmer, and Elbert Dean; six sisters, Lorine Beatrice Wilson, Clara May Garlock, Evelyn Uhles, Margaret Dean, Ruby Ellis Wimberly, and Verna Alta Griffin; and his parents, Ernest and Elsie May Bell Dean.       He is survived by one son, Richard (Arleen) Dean of Lompoc, CA; one daughter, Katherine Machelle Sauceda of Santa Maria, CA; two brothers, Harold Dean of Maricopa, CA and Edward Joe Dean of Taft, CA; two sisters, Loretta Free of Bethany, LA and Joyce Edith Queen of Maricopa, CA; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.      All services will be held in Wadena, Minnesota under the direction of Karvonen Funeral Home.           In compliance with COVID-19 restrictions, face masks or other facial covering is optional.
