Bruce Allan Poe
September 2, 1945 - January 8, 2023

Bruce Allan Poe of Trumann departed this life Sunday, January 8, 2023 at the family residence at the age of 77 years, 4 months and 6 days.  He was born Sunday, September 2, 1945 in Trumann and had lived his lifetime in Trumann.  He was a retired ginner from Dixie Gin and of the Baptist faith.  Mr. Poe was a veteran of the United States Navy from 1962-1968.  Bruce’s favorite thing was spending time with his family and hunting.    He was a member of the Trumann Masonic Lodge and got an associates degree from ASU in Marked Tree.   He was  preceded in death by one  brother, Thurman Poe and one sister, Iola King  and his parents, Fred and Beulah Wallace Poe.        He is survived by his wife of 56 years,  Emma Lance Poe  of the home; two sons William (Teresa) Poe of Little Rock and Billy (Mary Beth) of Trumann;  three grandchildren, Hunter Poe, Alexis Poe, and Luke Anderson; one great granddaughter, Cecelia Poe       Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 5-6 pm at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann.   Celebration of life will begin at 6:00 in the chapel with Rev.
