Judy and Marilyn, I am sorry I was unable to attend your mom's service. She was such a dear lady. I was blessed to visit with her a few times before she moved from Morningside, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Her wit and charm remained in tact, and always a gracious lady to be sure. May God bless you two and your families.

  11. Teri Young Borton, Pensacola Beach, FL. says

Dear Marilyn and Judy, I am so sorry for the loss of your sweet mother. I loved your mother and dad dearly and have such fond memories of stays with the Harlans. Marilyn, I could always make your mom laugh and get a bit of a smile from your dad when we remininisced about some of the Marilyn/Teri escapades of our teenage years. Who knew that the tongue lashing we got over the 1964 sweet tea and carnival fiasco would be the source of such laughter for 50+ years. I can still see Lou giggling with shaking shoulders and teary eyes as she recalled the events of what I considered to be the most humiliating day of my first 15 years on earth!!!Today I imagine Lou and Harlan holding hands in heaven.. she giggling and he smiling over my post. May this bring you a smile and comfort as it does me on this day of great loss. Love and sympathy to you and your families. Teri
