Cecil “Darrell” Jaynes  of Trumann departed this life on Sunday, February 5, 2023 at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, AR at the age of 64 years, 1 month, and 23 days. He was born December 13, 1958 and was a lifetime resident of  Trumann. He was the son of the late Delmar Jones and Freida Barton and raised by Lonnie and Margaret Jaynes. He loved gardening and animals. He loved his children very much and that’s what he lived for. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one son, Jasper Jaynes.       He is survived by his daughter, Ashley Jaynes and son-in-law Robert Stevenson of Seattle, WA; daughter-in-law, Jamie Jaynes of Jonesboro, AR; one brother, Rodnie Jones of Pocahontas, AR; three sisters, Cecila Hitchcock of Sandwich, IL, Loretta Underwood of Iowa, and Iva Jackson of Jonesboro, AR.       The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 7th from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will follow at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Kenny Guy McMahan officiating.
