Doris Jean Proctor
June 17, 1951 - February 15, 2023

Doris Jean Proctor of Trumann, departed this life Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at the family residence at the age of 71 years, 7 months, and 29 days. She was born Sunday, June 17, 1951 in Tyronza, AR to the late Tim and Faye Haynes Plunkett. She worked at Singer and Columbia Forrest  and was a lifetime resident of the Trumann area. She was of the Baptist faith and loved to plant flowers and gardening. She is preceded in death by her parents,  her husband, Harold Proctor, one son, Jerry Leon Wilcockson, Jr, and three sisters, Judy Dale Price, Betty Lynn Knight, Trina Ruth Galloway.      She is survived by one son, William Orville Wilcockson of Trumann, AR; one daughter, Leona Jean Wilcockson of Payneway, AR; three brothers, James (Jenny) Plunkett of Bay, AR, Wayne and Daniel Plunkett both of Marked Tree, AR;  two sisters, Katherine Baney of Mt. Home, AR and Martha Davis of El Dorado, AR; a half sister, Shirley K. Morris of Horseshoe Bend, AR and two grandchildren, Felicia Wilcockson and Tyler Dunavin.       The family will receive friends Sunday, February 19th from 2:00  - 3:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will follow at 3:00 pm with the Rev. James Jones officiating.
