Ruth Irene Byram

Ruth Irene Byram departed this life Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at Eagle Crest Nursing and Rehab in Ash Flat, AR at the age of 90 years, 9 months, and 7 days.  She was born July 26, 1932 in Williford, AR to the late Brady Smith and Mary Viola Rees Smith. She was a retired employee of the Singer Company and Baldwin Piano Company and of the Pentecostal faith. She was preceded in death by her husband Ollie Byram; a son, David Wayne Byram; two brothers, Jimmy and Eddie Ray Smith.        She is survived by two grandsons, Chris Byram of Paragould, Michael Byram of Bono; two granddaughters, Laura Montes Deoca of Paragould, Melissa Pegg of Corinth, MS; eight,  great-grandchildren and twelve great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 9th from 10:00  -  11:00 at Thompson Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will follow at 11:00 in the chapel with the Rev. Buddy Moore and Rev. Phillip Timbs officiating.
