Daniel Franklin Hellums

Mr. Daniel Franklin Hellums of Trumann departed this life Tuesday, March 7, 2017, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark., at the age of 48 years, and 26 days. He was born Sunday, February 9, 1969 in Osecola, Ark., and lived most of his lifetime in Trumann, Ark. He was a tree trimmer and of the Baptist faith. Mr. Hellums was preceded in death by his mother, Geneva Sweenie Hellums. He is survived by one son, Blake Hellums of Bay; one daughter, Geneva Hellums of Trumann; two brothers, Scotty Hellums of Paris, Ark., and Michael Hellums of Arkansas and his father, Johnny Hellums of Alabama. The family will receive friends Friday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel. Burial be private.     Rest In Peace my friend. You alway worked hard for my daddy and he sure loved you a lot. I know he was hard on you but he was on the workers he cared for. Thanks for looking out for me when I was young and after I got married my first time. Then when I married Keith you knew I was in safe hands. I'll always be grateful for you looking out for me and being such great help for my mom and dad. Almost well you were like family to me. Fly high angel.

    So sorry for the loss of this great man. I've known him since I was a little girl and I couldn't ask for a better person. We all have our faults but he didn't judge.he was a great father. He was always there whenever anyone him. You will be forever messes love you.

    I'm going to really miss him. He was always there with a smile and ready to help with whatever needed doing. He and Tammy were there for me when my husband passed away, he had such a big heart. He was going to help me rebuild the clutches in my bike in a couple of weeks. Somehow that rebuild seems less important now. I pray for his family's peace through this difficult time. ?

    Daniel was and always will be there in my heart mind as well as most of my thoughts he was a true frind that you could always exspect a strong and straight forward answer from him no matter what he never showed a dishonest side.I for one will remember all we talked about and shared as frinds.We truely have lost a great man and frind.God has gained a new and strong angle in heaven.     Daniel my brother you are greatly missed and will never be forgotten, I need to thank you for all the love and laughs you gave me over our lifetime, weather it Was growing up on redwood ave or if we were in Southern California it was always a blast being with you, it's times I cherish in my heart, i love ya my Brother, be sure and give ya mom a hug from me, and I know i'l see that contagious Smile again someday ; )
