William C. Benson

William C. “Tete” Benson III,  of Trumann departed this life  Monday, May 22, 2023 at the family residence at the age of 78 years, 9 months, and 19 days. He was born August 3, 1944 in Harrisburg, AR to the late Leon and Irene Hollingsworth Benson. He was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam war. He was a lifetime resident of Trumann, of the Church of Christ faith, and liked to hunt and fish. He was preceded in death by his wife  Charlotte; a brother Jimmy Benson and his parents. He is survived by his son David (Suzanne) Benson of Jonesboro; two brothers, Ronnie (Suzanne) Benson of Trumann and Paul (Betty) Benson of Memphis, TN; and grandson Craig (Katelyn) Benson of  Jonesboro. Graveside services will be Friday, May 26th at 2:30 pm at Holly Springs Cemetery near Harrisburg, AR with  Ronnie Benson officiating. Online guest book can be signed at www.thompsonfuneralhome.net
