Emma Jean Knowlton

Emma Jean Knowlton of Springdale, AR departed this life Saturday, June 3, 2023 at the Willard Walker Hospice House in Springdale, AR at the age of 90 years, 2 months and 16 days. She was born Saturday, March 18, 1933 in Harrisburg, AR to the late Herman Arnold Davis and Oda Bell Denton Davis. She was a homemaker, a former employee of the Singer Company in Trumann, and of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by one son, Daniel Knowlton, one grandson, Aaron Knowlton, her husband William E. Knowlton, son-in-law Joe Greer, 6 brothers, 4 sisters and her parents.       She is survived by two daughters, Donna Greer of Haynesville, LA, Lisa Bennett of Springdale, AR; one son, Michael (Melissa) Knowlton of Alexander, AR; two sisters, Pauline Davis of Trumann, AR, Judy (Ronnie) Moss of Lynchburg, TN; one brother, Paul “Sailor” (Effie) Davis of Harrisburg, AR; 9 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.       The family will receive friends Saturday, June 10th from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church in Harrisburg, AR. A Celebration of life will follow at 2:00 with Zach Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Harrisburg Memorial Park Cemetery.       Active pallbearers are Patrick Knowlton, Josh Greer, Trey and Nathan Bennett, Byron and Bryce Collins, Aaron Davis.
