Wilma Wucherpfenig
April 14, 1933 - March 12, 2024

Wilma Wucherpfenig of Trumann departed this life on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at the family residence in Trumann at age of 90 years, 10 months and 27 days. She was born April 14, 1933 in Black Oak, AR to the late Samuel and Fannie Bell Edwards McHalffey.  Wilma lived most of her lifetime in Trumann and was formerly of Caraway and of the Baptist faith.  She was preceded in death by her husband,  Ray Wucherpfenig; 3 sisters, 5 brothers and her parents. She is survived by two daughters, Rhonda (Steve) Kelley of Trumann; Ann Daniel; two grandchildren, Britt (Amy) Morgan and Cory (Erica) Long; four great-grandchildren, Felisha (Jordan) Hudson, Raegan Long, Kendall Long, Bodie Long; and three great-great-grandchildren, Bryleigh Hudson, Griggs Hudson and Peyton Hudson. The family will receive friends Saturday, March 16th from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home.  A celebration of life will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home with Ronnie Benson  officiating.  Burial will follow in Nettleton Cemetery in Jonesboro.       Pallbearers will be Jordan Hudson, David Wayne McHalffey, Cory Long, David Long, Bryan Norris and Tony Austin.  Honorary pallbearers will be Gerald Hunt and Steve Kelley.
