Tina LeighAnn Coffey
March 31, 1992 - May 22, 2024

Our beloved, one of a kind Tina LeighAnn Coffey, 32  departed from this life on May 22, 2024 in Jonesboro, Ark., leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter. Tina entered this world on March 31, 1992 in Jonesboro, AR. She loved her job at Citi Trends and was of the Christian faith. Tina walked through her 32 years on earth with a gentle strength, touching the lives of those in Northeast Arkansas. Tina graduated from Trumann High School in 2010. She enjoyed attending church and praising the Lord loudly. She took pride in participating in the Special Olympics and cherished her medals. Tina loved her family more than anything and making memories with them all. Tina didn’t meet a stranger and gave everyone unforgettable grace.       Tina leaves behind her surviving parents, Thurman Coffey (Joyce) and Tracy Timbs of Trumann. Her sister Natasha Shepherd (Shane) of Doniphan, MO, and Morgan Cook of Marked Tree. She also leaves behind three brothers, Timothy Coffey (Lonna), Jordan Coffey (Kayla), and Dakota Craig (Taylor) all of Trumann, AR. Tina also is survived by her grandmother Martha Lakey, and Joyce Lucas (Ken) both of Trumann; and her great grandmother, Katherine Kelly of Salem, AR. She departed this life and joined two of her grandfathers, Les Coffey and Don Timbs and one brother, Michael Cook.is also survived by several nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.       The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 29th from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home. A Celebration of a life lived with love will follow at 1:30 in the chapel with Bro. Shane Shepherd officiating. Tina will be laid to rest at her final resting place below a beautiful tree at Holy Springs Cemetery near Harrisburg, AR. Pallbearers will be Timothy Coffey, Jordan Coffey, Dakota Craig, Ryan Broadway, Cody Timbs and Hunter Blagg. An online register book can be signed at www.thompsonfuneralhome.net.

    I am so sorry to hear of Tina’s passing. I had the privilege of coaching Tina on Friday mornings for Special Olympics tennis. She came each week and worked very hard and was encouraging to her teammates. She was a sweet person and I always enjoyed my time with her on court. She was looking forward to state competition and had worked hard to be prepared. She will be greatly missed! Prayers of peace and comfort for all her family and friends.

    My daughter went to school with Tina at the Learning Center and we were shocked to hear of her passing since we just saw her at bowling the day before. Amber was sad to learn of her leaving. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family. May God comfort all.
