Bobby Glen Byram
April 6, 1948 - June 29, 2024

Bobby Glen Byram, Sr., 76, of Williford, Ark., departed this life on Saturday June 29, 2024 at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro. Bobby was born in Tulot, Ark., and had lived 20 years in Williford, moving there from Steele, MO.   He was retired from the United States Air Force, he loved to sing and play southern gospel music on his guitar in which he has over 16 guitars and was of a member of the Lake Charles Full Gospel Church in Powhatan.  He was preceded in death by one brother, Billy Wayne Byram, one grandson, Billy McCune and his parents,, Billy Claude and Velma Louise O’Neal Byram. Bobby is survived by his wife of 58 years, Rebekah Byram of the home; one daughter, Beverly Byram of Watervliet, MI; one son, Bobby (Marla) Byram , Jr. of Steele, MO. two sisters, Gail Major of Cotter and Judy Webb of Lewisburg, TN; 3 grandsons,  Joshua Byram, Robert McCune and Bobby Byram, III, 7 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.      The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Sanctuary Church of Jonesboro. A Celebration of life will follow at 1:30 p.m. with Revs David Tipton and Rick Hart officiating. Burial will follow at Nettleton Cemetery in Jonesboro. Pallbearers will be Zach Webb, Tim Byram, Travis Richey, Tim Reddick, Bill Hayes, Rick Hayes, Phil Hayes and Fred McKinnon.  Honorary will be Rev. Gary Duzat, Rev. Ed Gregory, Bob Hanshaw and Mike Holbrooks. Lasting memorials to Sanctuary Church of Jonesboro, P.O.     Bobby was my MWR director at Eaker AFB. We umpired and refereed together at many sport events. I loved and respected him. He will be missed.
