Nellie Faye Jenkins

Nellie Faye Jenkins of Tyronza, AR departed this life Thursday, July 4, 2024 at the Woodbriar Nursing Center in Harrisburg, AR at the age of 92 years, 6 months and 6 days. She was born December 28, 1931 in Savannah, TN to the late William Elmer and Rosie Smith Qualls. She was retired from the Johansson’s Shoe Factory in Harrisburg, AR after 32 years of service. She was a member of the Church of God in Harrisburg, AR. She was preceded in death by her husband, Pete Jenkins, five sisters, five brothers, and her parents.       She is survived by son, Freddy (Donna) Jenkins of Tyronza; daughter, Brenda Jenkins of Tyronza; two grandchildren, Scotty Jenkins, Crystal Carpenter; 6 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and one on the way.       The family will receive friends Sunday, July 7th from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. at Thompson Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be Monday, July 8th at 10:00 A.M. in the Chapel of Thompson Funeral Home with Bro. Greg Hoskins officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Springs Cemetery in Harrisburg, AR.      Pallbearers are: Jason Daniels Jr., Houston Daniels, Scotty Jenkins, Larry Austin, James Earl Reeves and Terry Jenkins.
