  1. Phil & Margie Arkin, Bethesda, Maryland says

My Uncle Dub was a kind and generous man who always had a good story to tell. We loved sitting in the backyard or around the kitchen table listening to him talk about farming, his dogs, or delivering the mail. Those afternoons spends with him laughing will be remembered with fondest memories. Our deepest sympathy to Aunt Pearl and the family.

  2. Lula Faye Smith Duncan, Booneville Mississippi says

Prayers & condolence's to Pearl & family. so sorry i can’t attend Dub’s service due to health issues. My thoughts & prayers are with you.

  3. Jackie Sawyer, Cherokee Village Agent and Neighbor says

Dub was always special to me. He loved coming up here to Cherokee Village and fiddling with his boat, playing softball with the team, loved sharing his house on the lake with his kids and grandkids. He always had a good story to tell and a project he was working on. He's from an era of people who are so different from what's following behind us, and he'll be sorely missed. I'm glad I was a part of his life and he was a part of mine.
