Connie Devee Reeves
December 25, 1954 - July 19, 2024

Connie DeVee Reeves, 69, departed this life on Friday, July 19, 2024 at the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. She was born on December 25, 1954 in Jonesboro Arkansas, to the late James Carvin and Esta Lee Whitaker O’Brien.  Connie worked for Home Health Care, she lived most of her lifetime in Trumann and was of the Pentecostal faith.   She is proceeded in death by her parents.    She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Gene Reeves of the home; one daughter, Christy (Kevin) Pierce of Ft. Myers, FL; two sons, Carl Wilson and Joshua Reeves both of Trumann; one brother, Dwight O’Brien of Trumann; and 7 grandchildren., Evan Pierce, Ian Pierce, Aaron Pierce, Hunter Reeves, Gavin Reeves, Maci Reeves and Max Wilson.     The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 24th from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann.   A Celebration of life will follow at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel with Bro. Chad O’Brien and Bro. Jim Stone officiating.  Burial will follow at Bolivar Cemetery near Harrisburg.       Pallbearers will be Hester O’Brien, Joey Wilson, Darryl Dunahoo, Keith Luster, Evan Pierce, Ian Pierce, Aaron Pierce and Timothy Whitaker.
