Russell Partain
August 31, 1941 - August 6, 2024

Russell Partain, Jr. of Trumann, AR departed this life Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, AR at the age of 82 years, 11 months and 6 days.  He was born August 31, 1941 in Cherry Valley to the late Russell Paul and Rosie Bell Churchfull Partain. He had lived his lifetime in Trumann and  was retired from Hytrol Conveyor in Jonesboro. He was of the Assembly of God faith.   He was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Elizabeth Ann “Tibby” Partain;  one sister, Marie Trimble; three brothers, Walter Partain, James Partain and Ricky Casalman.      He is survived by three sons,  Rusty Partain and Steve Partain, both of Trumann, AR, Terry (Lisa) Martin of Heber Springs, AR; one daughter, Shelley Ann (Bryan ) Moye of Trumann;  two brothers, Troy Partain of Earle, AR and Glenn (Linda) Casalman of Vanndale, AR; three sisters, Shirley Ann Hulen of Flippin. AR, Pat Vannetter (Charlie) of Earle, AR and Tina Casalman of Earle, AR; five grandchildren, Brandy Moseley, Dakota Martin, Lara Williams, Hunter Moye and Misty Malone; and seven great-grandchildren; and special caretaker, Levada Smith of Lepanto.        The family will receive friends Friday, August 9th from 12:30 P.M. to 1:30 P.M. at Thompson Funeral Home. A celebration of life will follow at  1:30 P.M. in the Chapel of Thompson Funeral Home with Rev. Ricky Dobbins officiating. Burial will follow in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery in Jonesboro, AR.      Pallbearers are: Hayden Malone, Bryan Moye, Hunter Moye, James Roberts, Wes Cranford, and Cody Blanchard.
