Zetta Mae Easter
May 5, 1931 - August 14, 2024

Zetta Mae O’Dell Easter, of Trumann departed this life on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at a family residence in Pine Bluff, AR., at the age of 93 years, 3 months and 9 days.  She was born May 5, 1931 in Tyronza, AR and lived most of her life in Trumann before moving to Pine Bluff to live with Greg. She was a factory worker for many years at Singer, Arbor, and Delta Woods.  Mrs. Easter worked also in the kitchen at the Arlington Cove Nursing Home with some great ladies and finally retired at the age of 88.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Noel Andrew Easter, a son Gary Easter, three sisters, Lela Fay May, Bonnie Lowe, Peggy Wiley, one brother, James O’Dell and her parents Cecil and Cecilia O’Dell       She is survived by a son, Greg (Traci) Easter of Pine Bluff a sister, Brenda Fewox of Vilonia, a brother Jerry (Sandra) May of Vilonia.  6 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.       The family will receive friends Monday, August 19th from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home.  A celebration of life will be Tuesday, August 20th at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth Doke officiating. Burial will follow in Keller’s Chapel Cemetery in Jonesboro.       Pallbearers will be Jake Easter, Jaden Easter, Ryan Easterling, Scott Brown, Alan McClung and George Duboise.  Honorary will be David Taylor.       An online register book can be signed at www.thompsonfuneralhome.net.
