Billy Edward Wilson
February 13, 1942 - August 20, 2024

Billy Edward Wilson of Trumann departed this life Tuesday, August 20th at the family residenceat the age of 82 years, 6 months and 7 days. He was born Friday, February 13, 1942 in Paulding, MO., to the late Roy Sr. and Hattie Mae Ryan Wilson. He lived the last 50 years in Trumann coming from California. Billy was a member of Calvary Pentecostal Church and loved taking care of the church yard.  He enjoyed the last several years spending time with his family and with his dog Sasha sitting out back in his rocking chair.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Russell Wilson.       He is survived by two sons, Jeff Wilson of Trumann and Brian (Tammy) Wilson of Jonesboro; one daughter, Kim Bullock of Jonesboro; two sisters, Sandra Jenkins of Jonesboro and Barbara (Johnny) Gregory of Benton; two brothers, Roy Wilson and Tommy Wilson both of Trumann; 7 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.       The family will receive friends on Thursday, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann.         Graveside service will be Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery at Birdeye with Ricky Forbis officiating.          Pallbearers will be Ernest Bullock, Jr., Everett Bullock, Wesley Spray, Isaiah Lawless, Mekhi Lawless, Semaj Williams and Aaliyah Wilbourn.       Online guest book can be signed at www.thompsonfuneralhome.net
