Shirley Faye Richardson
December 28, 1937 - March 5, 2025

Shirley Faye Richardson of Trumann, departed this life on Wednesday,  March 5, 2025, at the family residence in Trumann.  She was born Tuesday,  December 28, 1937 in Hunter, AR a homemaker and a member of McCormick Baptist Church and a lifetime resident of Trumann area.  She was preceded in death by one sister, and four brothers and was the daughter of the late Loyd and Dollie Mae Woods New.      She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Charles Ray Richardson; two sons, Ronnie (Shana)  Richardson of Jonesboro,  AR, Steve (Starleigh) Richardson of Jonesboro; one daughter, Sharon (Corey) Overstreet of Trumann; eleven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren;  three brothers, Jerry New of Jonesboro, Bobby New of Bay Village and Harry New of Trumann.       The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home.  A Celebration of Life will follow in the chapel at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Rick Kimery  officiating.  Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park in Jonesboro, AR.       Active pallbearers will be  Kevin Holt, Steve Richardson, Ronnie Richardson, Jonathan Hawley, Corey Overstreet, Connor Richardson, Kevin Kilgore and Jeff Richardson.         Online guest book can be signed  at www.thompsonfuneralhome.net.
