Fred David Jaynes
June 21, 1950 - April 14, 2025

Fred David Jaynes of Trumann, departed this life Monday, April 14th at the family residence surrounded by his family at the age of 74 years, 9 months and 24 days. He was born June 21, 1950 in Jonesboro, AR to Zell and Marcelyn Pagan Jaynes. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army and served during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Trumann Masonic Lodge 693, of the Baptist faith and a lifetime resident of the Trumann area. He loved to fish, hunt, race and operate ham radio. He loved animals especially his beloved Belle. He was preceded in death by his father.       He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Bonnie Jaynes of the home; his mother, Marcelyn Jaynes of Trumann; son, Zach (Jennifer) Jaynes of Brookland,; sister, Karen Soward of Trumann; two brothers, Dennis (Regina) Jaynes, John Austin Jaynes both of Jonesboro; two sisters-in-law, Barbara Pee, Tammy Jaynes and two grandsons, Preston and Peyton Jaynes.      The family will receive friends Thursday, April 17th from 12:30 P.M. til 1:30 P.M. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will follow at 1:30 P.M. with Alan McClung and Jimmy Loven, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home.      Pallbearers are: Jimmy Loven Jr., Colton Jaynes, Randell Curtis, Bobby Benson, Larry Henderson and Burney Lightle. Honorary Pallbearers are: Clarence Woodard, Erik Willbanks, Jiles Pagan, Lloyd Pagan, Santiago Sifuentes Jr., Tyler Gahr, Eric Carter, Chayton Carter and John Pascal Soward. In lieu of flowers please consider donations to the American Cancer Society. An online register book can be signed at www.thompsonfuneralhome.net.
