John L Sullivan
February 5, 1951 - June 5, 2025

John L. Sullivan of Trumann departed this life on Thursday, June 5th at The Springs of Jonesboro Nursing Home at the age of 74 years and 4 months. He was born Monday, February 5, 1951 in Trumann and had lived most of his lifetime in the Trumann and Jonesboro area. John L. was  retired  from Hytrol Conveyors, veteran of U. S. Army; love playing football and other sports  he was all regional 1970-71 football player and was of the Baptist faith. John L. was preceded in death by three sisters, one brother and was the son of the later Robert Lee and Gladys Jacobs Sullivan. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Brenda May Pipkin Sullivan of the home; three daughters, Stacey (Jim) Moore of  North Myrtle Beach, SC, Kimberly (Shannon) Davison of Bay and Melissa Sullivan of Conway, SC; one brother, Terry Lee (Ella Faye) Sullivan of Hardy, AR and six grandchildren, Preston Barnett, Dr. Garrett Barnett, Nick Moore, Zander Sullivan, Briana (Ricky) Haygood and Zoe Davison.       Visitation will be Wednesday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann.  A Celebration of Life will follow at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel with Rev. Ricky Dobbins officiating.  Burial will follow in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery in Jonesboro, AR.       Pallbearers will be Preston Barnett, Dr. Garrett Barnett, Nick Moore, Zander Sullivan, Ricky Haygood and Terry Sullivan II. Honorary pallbearers are Donnie Stacy, Danny Throgmartin, Shannon Davison, Jim Moore and Ronnie Grimes.        An online registry book can be signed at thompsonfuneralhome.net.
