Guy Frank Smith

Mr. Guy Frank Smith of Trumann departed this life on Thursday, September 4, 2025 at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, AR at the age of 85 years, 2 months and 9 days. Guy was born Wednesday, June 26, 1940 in Harrisburg, AR and lived most of his lifetime in Trumann.  Guy loved to fish, watch westerns and take care of his wife. Guy worked at Singer Co. and Roach Manufacturing and was a member of Healing Hands Church.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Daisy Livingston Smith; one sister and three brothers. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Betty Cleaves Smith of the home; one son, Howard Smith of Jonesboro, AR; one daughter, Teresa (Jim) Dunlap of Rogers, AR; and two grandchildren, Taryn Shannon of Bentonville, AR and Amy Gwen Corbett of Jonesboro, AR; three great grandchildren, Vivian Shannon, Kate Shannon and Mary Ryan Shannon. The family will receive friends Monday, September 8th from 1:00 til 1:30 pm at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann.  A Celebration of Life will follow at 1:30 pm in the chapel with Rev. Anthony Patterson officiating.  Burial will follow in  Harrisburg Memorial Park Cemetery in Harrisburg, AR.      Pallbearers will be Spencer Patterson, DeWayne Milton, C.D.
