Mrs. Evelyn was such a blessing to me as the new Associational Missionary beginning back in 2003. She had a wealth of wisdom and maturity with a wonderful sense of humor. Her kind words and warm experiences were a great encouragement. I thank God that our paths crossed for those twelve years. I am praying for her family during this time.

  9. Carolyn Vickers Tosh, Benton, AR says

I remember the Garners' from Bro. Jimmie being over Trinity Bapt. Assn. even back when I was way younger and way before I married. We lived in Trumann then and went to Faith Bapt. Church in Tulot. Fast forward to 1993, we met again when Doug and I moved back to AR from TX. We were camping and the Campers on Mission was in the same park so we decided to attend the service. After introductions, I said to them that I remembered them from the 1960's and told them who my mother was and Bro. Jimmie said, Oh yes, I remember putting my feet under your mamma's table many a time. We enjoyed the fellowship so much that day and that was the last time we were honored to see such a sweet couple doing God's will. Time to enjoy being in heaven with Christ Ms. Evelyn.
