Alice R Williams
August 10, 1930 - September 17, 2025

Alice R. Williams of Trumann departed this life Wednesday, September 17th at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, AR at the age of 95 years, 1 month and 7 days.  She was born Sunday, August 10, 1930 in Marked Tree, AR to the late William Earl and Ruth “Tillie” Boyd Morris.  She was a housewife and of the Southern Baptist faith.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard E. Williams; two sisters, Billie F. Blasingame, Juanita Zahn; and one brother, James Morris.       She is survived by one daughter, Jayne Reed of Iola, KS; grandchildren, Kyle Humphreys, Lyle (Christina) Humphreys, Alicia (Robert) Switzer; four great-grandchildren, David Humphreys, Kerith Humphreys, Sadie Humphreys and Adaline Humphreys; and several nieces and nephews.         The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann.  A Celebration of Life will follow in the chapel at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Kenny Guy McMahan officiating.  Private burial will be Monday at 10:30 at Nettleton Cemetery in Jonesboro.         Pallbearers will be David Reed, Lyle Humphreys, Kyle Humphreys, David Humphreys, Glen Miller and Ricky Mitchell.       In lieu of flowers donations to Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House.       An online register book can be signed at www.thompsonfuneralhome.net

    I really hate to hear this this was a very special lady. She will be greatly missed by me and all that knew her. She was a very talented individual she could play piano, guitar she could paint their was nothing she couldn't do if she set her mind to it she is finally at piece in heaven with Jesus were she worked all these to be fly high Alice till I see you again
