Dortha Mae Wilson
July 28, 1944 - October 23, 2025

Dortha Wilson of Harrisburg departed this life Thursday October 23rd at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, AR at the age of 81. She was born July 28th, 1944 in Trumann, AR to the late J.E. & Lois (Hancock) Lowery. Dortha lived most of her life in the Central Community. She retired from Baldwin Piano. She then returned to work as a food service worker for Trumann Public Schools for a few years. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.         She was preceded in death by her husband Buster Wilson. Five brothers; J.E. Jr, Leroy, Doyle, Jerry, and Wayne Lowery. Two sisters; Pearl Chambers and Shirley Lowery.       She is survived by two daughters, Lori (Tim) Brickell of Jonesboro, and Tracy (Jason) Carter of Manila: one son, Scott (Shannon) Wilson of Harrisburg; AR; grandchildren Kendra (Conrad), Kelley (Dylan) Rowell, Lindsey (Sam) Halsted, Aaron (Donisha) Carter, Nate, Eli, Drew Wilson and T.J. (Bridget) Brickell; great-grandchildren, Chloe and Cooper Newberry, Levi and Wyatt Rowell, Alexander Carter, and John Halsted, Jesse, Mila, Jackson, and Kimber Brickell, Ashton and Aiden Morris; two sisters Laretta (David) Nance and Gail (Bobby) Parnell; one Brother Alvis Lowery; two sisters-in-law, Brenda and Vickie Lowery.       Visitation will be Saturday, October 25th from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will follow at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home with Rev. Kenny Guy McMahan officiating. Burial will be private.
