Pat was counted among my dear friends. She was such a sweet person and very generous with her time, she had a listening ear and showed great compassion. She loved reading the Bible and believed John 3:16 that Jesus gave his soul as a ransom that we might have everlasting life. We talked a lot about the Bible, gardening, cooking, and she loved to talk about her adorable grandchildren. One story she told when her grandchildren were there that she offered them a cookie. And they held out their hand, but one held out both hands so she received two cookies, That made me laugh and Pat laughed too, and I said to Pat, "Smart kid Pat." She loved her family very much. She believed that we will be in our loved one's arms once again. This is not a forever goodbye, it is,"I will see you later, dear friend."

I’m heartbroken to hear about Pat’s passing. We used to visit with her regularly before my mom’s health declined, and those visits meant so much to us. Even after that, we'd still talk to her regularly on the phone. She was truly one of the kindest, sweetest souls, and it was always a joy to sit with her, talk, and just feel her warmth. She loved discussing the Bible and had such a deep, sincere faith in God and in Jesus Christ. And when she spoke about her grandchildren, her whole face lit up, she adored them with her whole heart. We will miss her dearly. Please know we’re keeping all of her family and loved ones in our prayers and in our hearts during this painful time.
