Jerry Lee Williams departed this life on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, AR at the age of 74 years, 8 months and 9 days. He was born July 1, 1951 in Marked Tree, AR to the late Raymond and Sally Short Williams and lived most of his lifetime in Trumann. He worked for Blake Wilson Farms. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Raymond “Sonny” Williams and James “Bud” Williams; eight sisters, Alma Wilson, June Huckabay, Doris Exum, Lois Collett, Louise Raymond, Rebecca Williams, Mary Ann Mitchell, and Bonnie Tesch; several nieces and nephews and his parents. He is survived by friend, Karen Gosa of the home; one brother, Franklin Williams of Jonesboro, AR; four sisters, Kay (David) Chapman of Jonesboro, AR, Marilyn (Ronnie) Kieffer of Trumann, Betty Hogland of Wamego, KS and Lucille Moreland of Trumann and several nieces and nephews. Graveside service will be Friday, March 13th at 10:30 A.M. at Harrisburg Memorial Park Cemetery. Burial will follow. An online register book can be signed at www.thompsonfuneralhome.net
