Mr. Gregory Wade “Greg” Smith 32, of Trumann died Saturday, May 28, 2016 at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Mr. Smith was born June 21, 1983 in West Memphis, AR and was a lifetime resident of Trumann. He was a shift supervisor for Nice Pak in Jonesboro, graduate of Arkansas State University in Jonesboro with a bachelor degree of manufacturing technology and a member of the First Assembly of God in Trumann. Greg was a loving husband, father, son, and brother. He loved the outdoors, traveling, concerts, joy rides in the Slingshot, and supporting his kids playing sports. He was excited to meet his new nephew Rhett Lynnox Wilson due June 4, 2016. He was preceded in death by his mother, Brenda Kay Smith, grandfathers, Kenneth Earl DuVall, Milford Crouch and Gilbert Smith. He is survived by his wife, Rachel Smith of the home; two daughters, Gracelyn and Trinity Smith of the home and one son, Samuel Asher Smith of the home; his father and step-mother, Jackie L. and Jamie Smith of Jonesboro, his in-laws, Steve & Debbie Adams of Paragould; two sisters, Christie and Robert “Burt” Wilson of Jonesboro and Jill and Dylan Beliew of Jonesboro; his grandmothers, Elawease Duvall and Tommie Crouch both of Trumann; sister-in-law; Nancy Adams of Paragould; uncle, Kenneth DuVall of Trumann; nieces and nephews; Jacob Wilson, Rachael Wilson and Rebekah Wilson. Funeral service will be held Wednesday morning at 10:00 a.m. at the First Assembly of God in Trumann with Rev. Kenneth Doke officiating. Burial will follow in the Tyronza Cemetery in Tyronza, AR with Thompson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will be Josh Hager, Donnie Creekmore, Curt Norris, Phillip Galeucia, Brad Dye and Nick Rook. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5 until 7 p.m. at the First Assembly of God , West Main Street Ext. in Trumann. An online register book can be signed at www.thompsonfuneralhome.net.
