My condolences to the Benson family during this mournful time. I didn't know Mr. Bob until recent hunting trips at the hills I wish I'd known him longer as he made you feel accepted & was quick with a joke even though you knew he was hurting inside. I'll remember him through the stories from his hunting buddies about the great friend he was to everyone.

  17. Jan Osment, Greenville, Mississippi says

My heart goes out to your family during this time. I will always remember the weekend Freddie, and our grandchildren and I went to Maddox Bay for a few days. Naturally, both Bobbys were already there. They joined us for supper. They made that trip so special. After that we always let Bobby Sr. know when we would be going. Bobby sometimes dropped off venison at the house. Said it was to repay for that good supper. Wonderful man. I was blessed to know him and many of his family.
