James Paul McDaniel
March 27, 1927 - July 27, 2015

Mr. James Paul McDaniel, 88, passed away peacefully with family present, Monday, July 27, 2015 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, AR. He was a retired farmer and lifetime resident of Trumann, AR. He was an avid sportsman, who loved hunting and fishing, and was well known for his love of the outdoors. Throughout his lifetime he raised hunting dogs, and had a special love for beagles. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Johnny Owen and Ruby Wilson McDaniel, two sisters. Marguerite McMahan and Francis Lee McCoy; three brothers, Chester, Spencer, and Gordan McDaniel and Murielene McDaniel. He is survived by one brother, Dale (Janis) McDaniel; two sons, Vance (Sharon) McDaniel, and Paul McDaniel; seven grandchildren, Chris McDaniel (Kristen), Rachel Robert (Kevin), Autumn McDaniel-Eaves (Eric), Paul McDaniel Jr., Summer McDaniel, John McDaniel, and Sawyer McDaniel. Five great-grandchildren, Emilee & Jake Robert, Billie Owens, Garrett & Brody McDaniel. A memorial for family and friends will be held Thursday, July 30th, at 1:00 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church in Trumann, with Bro. Ricky Dobbins and Bro. Austin Missey officiating. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you please donate to the American Heart Association, the NRA, your local Ducks Unlimited Chapter, the St. Francis Lake Association, or the St. Francis Sunken Lands WMA..     Vance and Paul, Sorry to hear of your dads passing. I wont be able to make it in tomorrow. I was glad to get to visit Uncle James Paul in the hospital 2 weeks ago. We had a good visit and was pleased to get to pray with him. Praying for all of you
