Mr. R. Steve Schmidt of Trumann died Sunday, June 21, 2015, at the Flo and Phil Hospice House in Jonesboro, Ark., with his wife and family by his side, at the age of 60 years, 7 months and 30 days. He was born Friday, October 22, 1954 in Jonesboro, Ark. and had lived most of his lifetime in Trumann. He was retired after 31 years in sales for Wonder Bread and a member of the Blessed Sacrament Church in Jonesboro. He was preceded in death by his mother, Eva Elizabeth

    My dearest brother Steve: I was so shocked to see how sick you had become when I saw you on June 15. Thank God you still knew me for a couple of days. You went through so much pain. As hard as it is on all of us, I am glad you are no longer suffering. You were a loving brother and wonderful family man. I am so sorry you won't see your only grandson...although some day we all pray to be together with God and all of his angels. You deserve your eternal rest.
