Mary Jo Austin Shipp
December 24, 1933 - January 16, 2015

Mrs. Mary Jo Shipp was born on Dec. 24th , 1933. Daughter of the late William and Hester Austin. Mary Jo passed away Friday January 16th at Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation in Maryville , Tn. at the age of 81 years and 23 days. She was born in Marked Tree, Arkansas and had lived in Maryville for the passed 14 years and was formerly of Trumann and Jonesboro, Arkansas. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law Tip and Vicki Shipp of Trumann, Ark. , daughters and son-in-laws ; Liz and Bill Hayward of Naples Fla., and Renea and Steve Mull of Louisville Tenn. Step children Lanell and Dan Smith of Jasper , Texas and Connie and Jerry Flowers of Greers Ferry Ark. and one sister Mabel Tarver Huss of Conway , Ark. and one grandson Parker Mull of Louisville , Tenn. Graveside services will be Saturday, January 24th, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Tyronza Cemetery located on Hwy 322W in Tyronza Ark., with Rev. Jerry Kausler officiating under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann. In lieu of flowers, memorials and donations may be given to Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation in Maryville, Tenn; "resident activity fund."An online register book can be signed at www.thompsonfuneralhome.net.
