Ricky Gene Wheeler
November 1, 1968 - July 21, 2014

Mr. Ricky Gene Wheeler of Trumann died Monday, July 21, 2014 at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro., at the age of 45 years, 8 months and 20 days. Mr. Wheeler was born Friday, November 1, 1968 in West Memphis, Ark., and had lived his lifetime in Trumann. Mr. Wheeler was self employed working in heat and air and was of the Pentecostal faith. He was preceded in death by his father, Gene Wheeler. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Dana Blagg Wheeler of the home; one son, Rick Aaron Wheeler of the home; his mother, Janet Sue Dunavin Wheeler of Trumann; three brothers, Danny Wheeler of Harrisburg, Tony Wheeler and Jimmy Crisswell both of Trumann. Funeral services will be Thursday morning at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home with Rev. Ricky Forbis officiating. Burial will follow in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery Jonesboro, Ark. Pallbearers will be Mark Woolbright, Lee Cossey, Kyle Barker, Bo Benson, Randy Blagg and Jackie McHalffey. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeff Steven, David Shuburte, Tracy Dunivant, Brian Seay and Lester Herod. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann. Seeing the deep love and devotion to you Dana, after all these years, from high school sweethearts thru 26 years of marriage always puts a smile on my face and warmth in my heart.
