Auda Bell Furnish Moon

Mrs. Auda Bell Moon of Trumann died Friday, March 7, 2014 at South Wind Heights in Jonesboro, Ark., at the age of 82 years, 10 months and 3 days Mrs. Moon was born Monday, May 4, 1931 in Lake City and had lived most of her lifetime in the Trumann and Bay area. She was a retired employee of the Singer Company and of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Moon was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Moon, two sisters, two brothers and her parents, Roger Fred and Julia Osborn Furnish. Survivors include three sons, James Dennis (Debbie) Moon of Allen, TX, Roger Moon of Trumann and H. Gregory Moon of Palm Springs, Calif., one daughter, Kathie (Ken) Waymon of Jonesboro; two sisters, Kathleen Walker of Rockford, Ill., and Hazel Moon of Trumann; one brother, Gary Furnish of Jonesboro. 9 grandchildren, Roger Moon Jr., Stacy Bailey, Melanie Tiemeier, Jeremy and Derek Waymon, Chelsey Gann, Ryan Vericker, Mat Vericker and Heather Coin; 8 great-grandchildren, Rylee Bailey, Hadlee Bailey, Hailey Tiemeier, Draven Tiemeier, Olivia Waymon, Ella Waymon, Bradyn Blocker and Allie Blocker. Funeral services will be Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann, with Rev. Tyler Bailey officiating. Burial will follow in the Nettleton Cemetery in Jonesboro, Ark. Pallbearers will be Bobby Lowery, Keith Rost, Ronnie Taylor, Pete Porterfield, Tommy Coin, Randy Coin, Gaylon Muse and Keith McElyea. Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann, Ark. An online register book can be signed at www.thompsonfuneralhome.net

    The world and our family lost a wonderful lady. She has always been a big part of our life, if she was ask to do anything she never said no. She has always been a big part of my life, I LOVE her so much and will miss her.Anytime we were all together, she was the light of the party.     Rest In Peace Aunt Belle. I will always remember our greetings and the great hugs. The one greeting that will always stay with me is"Hey Terry Norman. How have you been". When she lived in this area I use too see more than I was able too in the years since she moved back to her home in Arkansas. She was a great lady. :D
