Mr. Ronald Earl Dye of Trumann died Saturday, February 22, 2014 at NEA Memorial Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, Ark., at the age of 67 years, 3 months and 8 days. He was born Thursday, November 14, 1946 in Bunney, Ark., and had lived most of his lifetime in Trumann. He was a supervisor at Columbia Forrest and a member of the Maple Grove Baptist Church. Mr. Dye was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Shirley Mae Dye; 5 brothers, 3 sisters and his parents Earl Vernon and Mildred Venita Craig Dye. He is survived by two sons, Ronnie (Jill) Dye and Tadd (Taylor) Dye both of Trumann; two daughters, Rhonda White (Gary Davis) of Hickory Ridge, Ark., and Tiffany (Justin) Elliott of Trumann; six grandchildren, Jonah White, Trevar Dye, Sarah White, Grayson Dye, Topanga Elliott and Lily Elliott; one sister, Betty Woodard of Marked Tree; two brothers, Rickey Dye and Tommy Dye both of Trumann and a host of nieces and nephews. Memorial Service will be Saturday, March 1, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Maple Grove Baptist Church in Trumann with Rev. Jim Shaw officiating. Burial will be private at Caraway Cemetery at Caraway, Ark. Family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 to 2:00 at Maple Grove Baptist Church. Memorials may be made to Maple Grove Baptist Church.
